#146 Witch Benita

# 146 Witch Benita on her broom

Price $400.00(US)

Benita is a young witch who is trying to find which siting position on her broom is more comfortable for flying. While she is making herself comfortable, her little "familiar", a spider is trying to hide himself from her view. (You'll find him flying near her leg.) He is trying to fly invisibly with his friend as she had told him to stay at home. Benita sends you her charming smile and invites you to fly along with them.

Benita is made in soft shades of green with great attention to detail. Her bloomers and the scarf around the top of her sweater are Jurate's special way of pleating material in forest green with flecks of beige. Her sleeves, hat, and the rest of her top are soft green velvet. There are knots of mohair decoration knitted in the sweater, which has wound tassels which end in a tuft of fur. (I am sorry that pictures cannot possibly show all of the elegant detail which goes into Jurate's dolls.) Benita has soft hazel embroidered eyes and freckles on her cheeks. I know you would treasure this charming witch.

Benita is meant to hang as if flying, but also sits on a shelf very well. !4 inches from seat to top of head hair which is artfully wound into tufts, 20 inches from feet to top of hair.
